Harper’s Ferry
Day 23 - Tuesday, April 21, 2015

After a restful night and breakfast at the Econolodge, we ventured out to find the Potomac River.  It was a short walk through the historic district to the bridge.  What a feeling of accomplishment to have reached the Potomac River, coming all the way from the James River - 239 miles!

 After our leisurely walk across the bridge and back, we made our way to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy office for a visit and to take the customary picture in front of the office by the sign.
