Imp Campsite to U. S. 2 (Gorham)

Going up to Mt. Moriah was a lot of rock face walking.  Fortunately, it was not slippery.  It was nice warm weather with mosquitoes galore!  The temps got warm enough that I felt compelled to wet my head gear and my sleeves to cool off.

The declines were not tricky, just normal rock paths.  Right before Rattle River Shelter and after the trail got to be very nice, we crossed Rattle River twice, the trail ran along the river and was level.  We made 3 mph for the last 2 miles.  That got us to U.S. 2 before Bruce could get there, he was on a long-distance shuttle run.  We stopped in at Rattle River Hostel and the owner gave us a ride to Top Notch Hotel for $10.

Bruce later brought our left behind bag to us at the hotel.
